Craig of That Dapper Chap shares three looks available from the Hammond & Co range at Debenhams
If you’re not familiar with Patrick Grant and the Hammond & Co range of menswear at Debenhams, you must have been living under a rock.
Mr Grant always offers a wide range of clothing for us gents, classic in style, but with a modern twist. Each season the range is stylish and elegant and has a selection of ‘must have’ pieces, this season is no different.
In this post I’ll show you three distinct looks using items from the latest range.
Look 1 – Sartorial
For the first look I’ve gone all out dapper. This single breasted wool rich jacket with its bold check is teamed with a crisp white shirt and mustard bow tie for total sartorial elegance.
The slim fit jeans and Chelsea boots add that modern touch without detracting from the gentlemanly look of the outfit.
Look 2 – For Every Day
The second look is a bit more relaxed than the first but still appropriate for the office. This look is all about the dark tan Epsom coat.
Teamed with the same white shirt, jeans and boots as the last look it shows how versatile these three staple items can be when used in different looks.
Look 3 – Weekend style
This final look is perfect for a casual day in the office or that night at the pub with the lads. The navy mole skin jeans and wool bomber add texture, and the purple shirt adds contrast making the look smarter than it would be with just a T Shirt.

Craig of That Dapper Chap wears some of the latest collection from Profuomo in this ‘What I Wore Today’ post
If you’ve not heard of Profuomo before where have you been? Not only is it the place for the perfect white shirt, you find great style and some great pieces to add to your wardrobe for the coming months.
This outfits starts with the crisp white ‘Sartorial’ shirt. The shirt is a great fit and is one that I know I’ll go to again and again. The quality is great, with top quality cotton and mother of pearl buttons, it has a spread collar and single cuffs making it easy to wear and easy to dress up or down.
While this is a more smart casual look, made so by the jeans, it also makes a statement thanks to this incredible jacket. This is the wool blend multi colour jacket, it’s unlined (apart from the sleeves) and simple in it’s design but will turn heads due to it’s strong check and colour palette.
Next up we have the classic navy blue V neck sweater. Made from Merino wool, it’s warm but not heavy, and is very soft to the touch. Profuomo pride itself on it’s non pilling merino and have it available in over 25 colours!
The tie is also from Profuomo and matches the burgundy colour accents perfectly. Made from 100% silk which comes with a natural matt appearance and a rich texture.
Footwear comes in the form of my burgundy boots. With the jeans rolled up to show them off it adds a contemporary twist to the look.
Every look needs accessories and this one is no different. The pocket square is a vintage find from ebay, the bracelets are home made and the leather strapped watch completes the look.
So, what are your thoughts on this look? Could you pull off this jacket? Drop me a comment and I’ll get back to you.

Craig of That Dapper Chap shares the details of the latest Charity campaign from our friends at White Stuff
It’s beginning to look a lot like ‘Knitmas’ at White Stuff! and I was totally surprised and delighted to receive a beautiful navy scarf, complete with embroidered monogram. It was entirely out of the blue and was sent to me in support of their latest charity campaign.
All I need now is for the weather to get a little cooler so that I can wear it!
White Stuff have always supported local charities and this season is no different. Having already donated £2.1m to over 100 worthy causes they want to add to that figure, and this time around they are selling two scarves to raise funds.
The first is the ‘Charlie’ chunky stripe scarf (which is the scarf that they sent to me) and the second is the ‘Sarah’ check scarf.
The scarves will be available online and in stores in October and for every scarf bought White Stuff will donate £7 to charitable causes
Charity is all about giving back, engaging in that basic human instinct to care, and doing good for others. It’s very important to me, and I have supported many charities over the years, be it via sponsorship, taking part in mud races and weird events, or my monthly payment to the NSPCC.
I’m lucky in that I don’t need to take advantage of a charity, but nobody knows when life will take a turn and result in the need to seek help. It can happen to any of us at any time.
Give a little, give a lot, but please give! Why not get a great new scarf into the bargain and buy yourself, or a loved one, a lovely new scarf from White Stuff.
When you buy you please take a picture of yourself wearing it and post it to social media, use the hashtag #WhatCharityMeansToMe
