Craig reviews the Furbo dog camera. Watch, treat and talk to your dog anytime from anywhere.
I hate leaving Benny Bobbins home alone. Just the excitement that he shows when I get home shows me how lonely he’s been without me there. I also wonder what he gets up to when he’s home all day. That’s where the Furbo dog camera comes in.
Unlike other pet cams, Furbo has been designed specifically for dogs with the creators working along side dog trainers and vets. Setting up is very simple and I managed it in just a couple of minutes. Just download the app, click the set up button and that’s pretty much it. In an instant the Furbo camera shows you exactly what it’s seeing directly on your phone.
Not only that but you can talk to your dog through the app so he can hear your voice, offering him a little comfort. If he’s been good and not spread toilet roll around your house (just me?) you can click a button on your phone which will fire a tasty treat to your dog. Another great function is that when your dog barks Furbo will send an alert to your phone so that you can quickly see what’s wrong.
Using blue and yellow lights, colours that dogs can see, the Furbo camera changes from yellow to blue when you open the app on your phone, showing your dog that you’re about to talk to him or give him a treat.
With easy to set up functions, easy fill lid for your treats, and HD technology, the Furbo dog camera has taken a firm place in my home. It’s great to see what Benny is doing while I’m at work and I’m pretty sure that he enjoys the treats!
The Furbo dog camera is £249, however they are currently on offer (July 2018) for just £179.
