Craig of That Dapper Chap shares what he wore today in an outfit by Racing Green
Today’s look is from the Racing Green collection available in stores and online at Debenhams. I actually ordered the items in preparation for the event that I attended to launch Ben Fogle as the face of their High Summer Range, but having ordered late, it unfortunately didn’t arrive for the event so I thought I’d share it with you now.
The jacket is the blue textured wool blend blazer. in 57% wool it’s a jacket that’s easily dressed up or down and could easily become a wardrobe staple as it’s so easy to wear. In a regular fit, with three external pockets and two internal pockets, it also has a contrasting under collar to add a bit of extra interest when you turn up the collar to keep out the wind.
Please note when ordering yours that Racing Green tend to be on the generous size. I usually wear a 40″ chest but this one is a 38″ and fits very well.
Craig tests the Philips the Series 7000 ‘Less Mess’ Vacuum beard trimmer and the wet and dry shaver for sensitive skin
Philips have been making personal care products for decades and are market leaders in their field. They understand what matters, and knowing that a lot of guys suffer from razor rash, sensitive skin, pimples and burning from shaving they’ve created the series 7000 shavers, created exclusively for this reason.
First up we have the wet and dry shaver.
The Wet And Dry Shaver
With three comfort rings which have an anti friction coating designed to glide over the skin without rubbing or causing irritation and a 5 dimensional flexible head and rings you’re sure to easily get to every angle of your face.
Inside the box you have a zip up case to protect your new shaver, which is great if you travel a lot. There’s also a charger (which will charge your shaver in an hour) and the handy precision trimmer for those side burns or to shape a moustache.
The shaver can be used with soap too, so don’t feel that you have to dry shave with this. Simply pop the head off and rinse under warm water after you’ve used it.
Craig tries out some of the range of mens grooming products from Primark
We all know Primark for their great fashion and amazing prices, but did you know that they also offer an extensive range of grooming products for us guys? Who knew right! So for this sponsored post I wanted to show you some of the items, and tell you know what I think of them. Everything you see in this post cost me just £36. When you think that a moisturiser alone can cost that price or more, there are some incredible savings to be made in your grooming routine.
Most guys start the day with a shave, and above you have the post shave moisturiser, Volume 2 aftershave, and the shave brush. At just £2 the shave brush is of fairly good quality. I thought the bristles would all fall out, but even when I pulled them they stayed put and the hairs are nice and soft.
At £3 the post shave moisturiser is a medium weight cream, it has a nice fresh smell and was easily absorbed. It also made my skin feel very soft, and for the price I’d recommend it.
The aftershave is just one of a range that Primark offer. I had absolutely no idea that they stocked aftershaves! I chose Volume 2. I honestly do like the smell of this aftershave and with Mandarin, peppermint, cinnamon, Tonka bean and amber it has a very fresh but spicy and masculine scent. With a price tag of just £8 for 100ml it’s a total bargain, and the bottle is quite nice too. View Post
